Hi Adam
I was contacted through the web site this week by a BMCC member who suggested a ride with the visiting French cyclists. However, I haven't had any chance to do any further with that, so curious as to how you've become aware of this?
The issue is that they can only ride on Saturday so if people were interested then we'd need to discuss what happens with the club rides that weekend.
I'm with you in that I wouldn't actually be able to make the Saturday.

BMCC run time trials every Tuesday over at the RAF airbase at Weston On The Green. It's a closed road TT around the perimeter road of the air field and is also open to non BMCC members.
They rotate the structure so some weeks it is just solo, others it's pairs, youth, etc. Typically it's 10 miles but they occasionally do 25 milers.
On Tuesday 12 July they're running one of their 10 mile 4Up evenings (teams of 4). As several members have talked about going in for a team TT, I wondered if we could put a team or every two or more teams in for it. You don't have to have done a TT before or be the fastest riders in the club, obviously we'd need to group similar speed riders together, but remember... a TT is race against the clock, not other teams.
If you're interested, please let me know so we can see if we can put one or more teams together for the night. Entry is a fiver each and is payable on the night.
Cheers,
Matt

At the rearranged committee meeting, it was agreed that minutes should be made available to members should they wish to read through them. Therefore, please find attached the minutes from the last committee meeting.
Please let me know if you have any queries about the minutes or any of their contents.

The idea of going to Brill to recreate the classic Swan Wheelers photograph was floated at the AGM and received a positive response. Therefore, at the last committee meeting (minutes will be posted shortly) we discussed plans for “All rides lead to Brill – Swans Summer special” (working title and suggestions are welcome!)
11th September was agreed on to avoid the school summer holidays and allow sufficient time for preparation. Instead of the usual café stop, the leisure, medium and fast rides will all meet at Brill windmill (rides will leave separately as usual and maintain their normal speeds taking different routes to Brill). We're looking into refreshments, possibly via the pub next to the windmill.
More details will follow in due course, but for now, please save the date and hope to see you there.

The survey will close on Sunday 22 May. If you haven't cast your vote, please do. As you can see it's pretty close between the two most popular choices...

Pleasant tearoom situated in the grounds of the National Trust's Canons Ashby property. You don't need to be an NT member to visit the tearoom, but if you are a member then take your card along as showing it in the tearoom helps the property receive further funding. Can get quite busy on sunny days with NT visitors and other cycle clubs.
Also has a nice, sunny outdoor eating area and a good selection of cakes including cream teas.

Hi both
It's the same design for both genders for jerseys. I believe it separates out for leg wear. @lucyS has a club jersey so may be able to recommend how they size up for ladies.
Cheers

A bit of context from the email I received yesterday....
I'm away this weekend but perhaps its something that could be mulled over a pint in the Woolpack tonight?
