Hi Pete,
Thanks for your feedback.
I've heard nothing but positive reviews from the members on using The Mitre as a venue. Let's face it, it's not like we have an abundance of choice in Buckingham as we're limited on decent pubs! If you have an issue with using The Mitre please feel free to bring it up with me personally.Regarding the first aid courses, this is something that we have discussed as a committee at your behest in the past. Whilst we can see the value we would recommend that those that are unfamiliar with basic first aid should download the St Johns Ambulance app on their respective mobile devices. Having first aid training would be good but it's not something that the club can afford to fund but of course that doesn't prevent members from attending any courses that they wish. If you are able to set something up at a reduced cost I would recommend that you post information for it on the forum as it's not something that the committee would have any input into.

Mid week ride. 14 mph loop to 94 Coffee Shop in Waddesdon and back.

Weather looks sunny but cold so wrap up warm!

The green and blue are new then as they weren't there the last time I went.
@paulS, I still stand by my original comment, you shouldn't have a problem with the red as it's not hard. -
@paulS there is no blue available, it's a red only loop.
Honestly it's barely a red in my opinion and is equivalent to the blue at FoD.
Provided you have balance and can move your weight around on the bike you won't have a problem. Take it at your own pace and you'll be fine. -
Just a few words of advice based on feedback from other phone users.
Firstly battery in the phone generally won't last you for a long ride.
Secondly you'll need a decent case and mount to see any data otherwise it'll be in your back pocket.
Thirdly if you ever look at getting any additional sensors like cadence or heart rate then you'll have to get Bluetooth ones as most phones don't support Ant+ which limits your choice.
Fourthly, the GPS sampling rate in a phone isn't usually as frequent as a dedicated device and so your trace can appear choppy. Finally, it's just not as aero! ;)

@PaulW just so you know, there's no blue trails there, it's red only although TBH they're at the bottom end of red as it's not too technical.
-
@Philmet1 there's only black cut outs on the red route at Cannock, not full black routes. I would suggest that you won't need a FF helmet unless you're accident prone! :)
@salochinthims regarding the timing. Are you suggesting we all meet there at 10am or do you anticipate leaving Buckingham then? Either way won't leave much riding time if you want to be back at Buckingham for 1pm. It's a 1h30 drive.

Loop out to Bloxham stopping at Limes Farm. Not headed out that way much so thought it would make a change.
