Hi All, please see the latest minutes from our recent meeting, with the various action updates done and for us going forward.. especially the work going on with the BC Insurance and the fall out from that.
As you will see that our Chairman Tim Selby due to work commitments has decided to step down from that role with immediate effect and thankful to James Tebboth who has step-up for us into that role. So again its great thanks to Tim for his work for us but thankfully it not goodbye as hopefully we will see him on the black stuff at some point in the future.
Rgds

Its the final hurray for the Club's ITT Challenge Cup for this year and a last change to make a time improvement, well that is the challenge isn't it!? Hopefully the weather gods will be kinder to us this time?
So what you can you achieve? Turn up at the Crown pub in Gawcott, ride the route as fast and as safely as you can achieve, and then be reward your effort with a tasty beverage of your choice in the garden for a catch-up for a chat about it and more. Please to Note that in celebration of your efforts or not the first round of drinks will be on the club, so enjoy that at least. 🍻
The best improved time recorded on Strava across the series will be awarded the fabled "Gawcott Challenge Cup" at our next AGM. Note with Strava: we've unfortunately had a couple of efforts not being recorded correctly, not to sure why though! so please ensure that you make the Club Strava segment a personal favourite on your Strava data and include the segment within your evening ride effort, hopefully this may help?
To view our previous efforts & rules please follow the link to the website: http://www.swanwheelers.bike/swans-tt-challenge-cup.html
Remember: It's not about 'Her', even not about 'Him', the 'Race of Truth' is all about you - so the best of luck..
Safety: first and foremost this is on the open road event; so please be aware of other road users, take the time to familiarise yourself by riding the route before hand when ever that suits you and noting, all the potholes and the failed surfaces etc. also care is required at the far T junction- as the route turns left back to Gawcott with any traffic approaching from your right, be prepare to stop, as always the Highway Code rules apply.
The Route: Its a rolling start from the The Crown Pub, and finish's at the Lenborough road junction, Strava Segment name: The 'Swan's Section' distance 6.47 miles with your times recorded on Strava (a must) will be applied accordingly.
So, if you have any questions then please do ask.
