Another in the series of Leisure rides aimed at encouraging riders to dust off their bikes, and join us on a gentle ride. Cycling is such good exersize for burning off the extra calories, and toning up the whole body, without stressing your joints. Works well in combination with Pilates/ Yoga for loosening up stiff joints. Or, with swimming for a good aerobic workout. Or, with jogging for improving general fitness.
Whatever your motivation, the rides will delight you with the wonderful scenery and charming villages we have on our doorstep. You will not be disappointed.
We know riding with a club can be daunting. That is why we started the series of leisure rides...to allow you to experience riding with our club without pressure. The advantage of riding with others is the company, the support when you need it, security in numbers and knowledge of good cycling routes. Plus, between us we can usually fix any mechanical mishap along the way.
We have three other rides each Sunday for those who want something more challenging. This Wednesday we will ride on a 22 mile route South and East of Buckingham to Gawcott, Lenborough, Padbury, Coombs, Thornborough, Thornton, Beachampton, Passenham, Deanhanger, Wiken, Foscote, Maids Moreton, with a coffee and refreshment in Buckingham, if required.
