Weather permitting we will amble along in a South West direction to loop around the quaint village of Hethe, towards the delightful Stratton Audley Barn, where we will stop for refreshments before returning back home via Preston Bissett.
Route: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/44860209
Weather: is looking problematic 60% chance of rain and Blustery conditions. But I will take the ride out as long as it is looking promising at 08:30 on Sunday.
Keep an eye out for a cancellation message on this post, before setting off yourselves. Not as cold as it has been, but outer protection from the wind and possible shower, is advised.
A mask will be required to be served at the barn.Keep your fingers crossed that the weather is not as bad as the Met Office is projecting. They usually err on the pessimistic side! and see you on Sunday 08:45 for a 09:00 start.

Hi Sean, first you are welcome to ride.
This group is for new/ returning riders who need to build up their confidence and stamina on the road. As such the ride speed will be low (11mph) and distance short (23 miles).
I suspect this will not be what you desire, but you are welcome to join if you wish. -

A relatively flat ride to the delightful village of Evenley where we will hopefully be able to stop at the Forge cafe for refreshments. The route will take us down Welch Lane and along quiet country lanes and through the charming village of Shalstone on the way, returning via Maids Moreton before dropping down to Buckingham.
https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/44124357Weather should be good if a little overcast, with only a slight breeze.
With the cooler weather, it is advisable to wear an extra layer and gloves, also, carry a light showerproof covering if you have one (the type you can fold into a pocket), Just in case. 😏
A helmet is mandatory on our rides, and do carry a facemask for use in the cafe.We will meet by the cycle rack, at the far end of the building at 08:45.
Please observe social distancing, and do not mix with riders on the A, B and C Rides, located at different points in the carpark. We are limited to 6 riders in each bubble under Covid19 rules. It is in our interest not only to follow the rules, but to be seen 👀 to be following them.
Ifbyou wish to join me on Sunday.
Please click the "I'm attending button" or leave a message.

Looking Autumnal out there...beware fallen leaves on the road.
This weeks ride is a repeat of the aborted 20 mile loop last week, East and North to Paulespury returning via the Bycell Road (Stowe Castle).
There are no cafe's along the stretch of road open on Sundays, therefore we should be back by 11:00 ish.
Route: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/43444783Cooler weather, so the wearing of an outer layer to keep the wind at bay is advisable.
Weather looking good with sunshine, but feeling chilly after windchill, so make sure you wear an extra layer and gloves.
Wearing of a helmet is mandatory with our club. Please leave a message or click the "I'm attending" button to reserve your place.
See you at 08:45 for a 09:00 start.

https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/42496038Please click the attendance button or, for non-members, add a comment.
I can only take 5 maximum so will take the first 5 who express an interest.
Once more we are running a series of Leisure rides to encourage you back on a bike to discover safe scenic routes around Buckingham.
This weeks is a 22mile route round the villages bordering Silverstone circuit.
Check out this route on Strava: https://strava.app.link/OJGOKlmlWbb — 22 mile Silverstone Loop
The forecast is dry but cold, so wear 2 pairs of socks, and warm gloves, a muff for your ears, and a windproof cover.
Dont forget a drink, as you will still need to hydrate, and of course your helmet 😁.
Hope to tempt you out once again, ready for a gentle ride, to build up your stamina for joining the C rides next year.
