Hi Folks, apparently there is an idiot in Moreton Pinkey attacking anyone cycling through the village!
Last night the A5 Rangers 25 mile TT was completely disrupted by this idiot grabbing hold of riders or trying to push them off their bikes. He is not just targeting competition riders but anyone on a bike. The police have been informed, and a letter has been sent to the local parish council.

Where and when for coffee Malc?

Coming back from a very enjoyable, if not windy ride, by consent we tried out the new Buckingham Winslow cycle track. The track being silk smooth and downhill Mike and I were making excellent progress when a van going in the same direction as us started tooting,the driver then wound his window down and shouted . ' I think one of your mates is in trouble.' Retracing our route we found Keith engaged in repairing a puncture . When we informed Keith what had taken place he said he'd had no interaction with said driver?
Conclusions are: Wearing club kit certainly has it's merits.
As rider leader I had forgotten the golden rule of never losing sight of the last rider.
And finally, the actions of the hitherto unknown driver added something to our ride.

i always like to decide where to lead the leisure ride on the day. After consulting the assembled riders on their preferences i'm quite happy to lead a ride to any destination.

Brilliant ride Lucy ! I enjoyed every minute. Had me flummoxed as to where we were at times but nevertheless most enjoyable. I especially appreciated he helping hand I received from Malcolm.

Hi folks, I can also recommend The Straw Kitchen.
However to ensure that cyclists remain welcome there, please avoid putting the kitchen staff under too much pressure by placing orders in turn.
A recent visit from another cycling club caused quite an upset by their belligerent manner shouting out their orders all at once, and expecting instant service.

Hi Folks, tomorrows leisure ride will be approx 36 miles at 12 mph ave will head out NE to Yardley Gobion returning on a circular reciprocal to run home downwind on a SE heading.

Hi all, I had a chat with Chris this morning, he tells me that the fracture he sustained is more complicated than first thought. Subsequently Chris has stoically resigned himself to the fact that he will be off the road/golf course for some time to come.

I have led several club rides to the Milk Shed over the last year or two it can get incredibly busy after 10.45.
There is a cafe/ antique shop just a hundred yards away from the MS ( opposite the airfield) although I have yet to visit it.

Hi Folks, I think it's better being at home wishing we were out on our bikes, than being out on our bikes wishing we had stayed at home. Therefore due to adverse weather conditions I am cancelling tomorrows leisure ride.
