It'll be hot so I'm using a shortish ride of 38 miles via Deanshanger, Hanslope, stopping at Salcey forest and returning via Stoke Bruerne Shutlanger and Silverstone. Not too hilly and max of 15mph.

I note from the calendar that medium rides are now quoted as 14mph and fast ones as 16mph. Is that a definite change in "policy" as a result of the survey? If so I'm game for the medium ride - even if the speed creeps up a bit on the quoted figure.

I'm happy to lead some rides - and did Wednesday's (sort of). Paul bailed so didn't speak with him, but I expect to be there on Sunday so we can discuss it then.

I see there is no ride leader yet. As last week I'll turn up at the usual time with a route suggestion and if anyone wants to meet up I'm happy to go with the flow (or be Jonny no mates).

I see nothing organised for the the mid-week ride. I'd like to do something so I'll turn up at the usual time and hope we can organise a magical mystery tour - I have a few routes in my Garmin.

Tomorrow is looking decidedly wet so Monday may appeal. Personally can't do a long(ish) ride though.

Did you really mean medium ride? I thought you were leading the fast ride. Or are the medium and fast being combined since there is no medium ride leader?

I'm afraid I'm going to have to bail - son wants me to cast a jaundiced eye over a house he intends to buy.

Can't seem to get Garmin to get the course. Am I missing a trick?

I'm afraid I won't be riding tomorrow. I've had a cold since before Christmas which I was optimistic would be clear by now, but unfortunately not. I don't think it would be a good idea go out on what looks like a wet day.

I'm a bit of a delicate flower, but, weather permitting, I'm up for it.
