Morning All,
I've been watching the weather a bit but it does look dry-ish tonight (hopefully!) so here's a route for tonights Mountain Bike ride.
Please make sure you've got decent MTB lights, it'll be dark when we get back, and are dressed for the rather grey weather.
It's a new route, a variant on something I did Sunday before last. A good mix of off-road mountain biking and a faster return home along the lanes.

I hope the link works, but have uploaded the GPX file also :-)

Hi @Garry.Bayford Sorry, it's been a manic week and I somehow missed your post. I had cancelled the event as no-one seemed interested, you're the only person to express any interest in 3 such events so far :-(
[Also, I inadvertently planned it for the same weekend everyone is off to the Velo Birmingham event., which probably hasn't helped.]
There are still the following:
Thursday 28th September - MTB Evening Ride 7pm -9.30pm
Thursday 12th October - MTB Evening Ride 7pm -9.30pm
Saturday 21st October - MTB Gran Fondo - Time TBA...and I am going to do a few more over the winter months.
Regards,
Phil. -

I don't @paulw. I've no idea how to make a route in Garmin, I must be doing something seriously wrong because I can't find any way to do so :-(

Evening All,
I have the weekend of the 23rd/24th put aside for a day trip to one of the forests for some single track mountain bike rides. This could be Cannock, Swinley, Thetford etc.
I can do either Saturday or Sunday, depending on what people prefer.
I didn't get any interest in the last MTB day trip so I'm hoping that by leaving the details open I might get some comments. Please do let me know what you think, even if you're completely uninterested and I'm barking up the wrong tree. I won't know unless I get feedback.
Many Thanks

Afternoon all
Details of Thursdays Mountain bike ride.
To make a change from the last couple, which have been quite mountain bike focused this one is better for cyclocross, gravel bikes etc and mainly track and bridlepath based with a fair bit of minor roads.
Somewhat controversially, I started the route in Winslow to take advantage of some trails I haven't used yet for Swan events.
So, there's a meet at 7pm at the Swan Leisure Centre as usual, a ride down the A413 cycle-path for some quick mountain bike miles, and then an indirect route heading back to Buckingham. Estimated time 2 to 2.5 hours all in.
GPXs for the route from Winslow to Buckingham, and one for Buckingham down the cycle-path to Winslow (if needed) are attached.
Please make sure you have suitable lights on your bike (and make sure they're charged up/have good batteries etc).
Hope to see you at the Swan Leisure Centre at 7 on Thursday!

Hi All,
after last week's wet weather I've decided to add this Thursday as a date to the MTB rides and try again.
The route is below in GPX.
It's the same one as we would have ridden last week, had the weather been kinder, down past Lenborough almost to Hillesden and then west to loop around Lenborough Wood and and back through Gawcott.
As usual, please tick the box at the top if you're interested.
Thanks

Hi @JohnnyG, tricky one - if I do it on a Sunday then it clashes with the club rides. What does everyone think? I can do the Sunday instead, if people prefer?

Try that @PaulW - hopefully the Garmin works now. I might try Adam's suggestion, there must be an easier way to upload these things!
