After last weeks washout here's hoping Sunday will be good to go. The weather forecast is not looking to bad, light drizzle with a gentle breeze from the south. With this in mind have opted to use last weeks cancelled route so the ride home should be assisted by the elements.
The ride is a 50-mile loop to the Rectory Cafe, Stanton St John stopping at mile-27 for a cuppa and a chat.
It is that time of the year where fitted mudguards are preferred, please, especially with the amount of mud on the road of late.
Apart from that, usual rules apply, if you are out to play please tap the 'I'm Attending' button and enjoy the ride. Go on you know you want to, use the opportunity to earn your mince pie!!!

Firstly the weather forecast is not looking great for this Sunday, with gusty winds and rain, fingers crossed we get away with it. Will make a final decision if the ride goes ahead, on Saturday.
The ride is a 50-mile loop to the Rectory Cafe, Stanton St John which, if nothing else we will benefit from the strong winds from the South-West.

Have opted for a 41-mile B Ride to Limes Farm this Sunday. The adventure takes through Gawcott, Chetwode, Croughton, Charlton then onto Farthinghoe. After the cafe it's a delightful spin down the straight to Evenley aided by a gentle tail-wind. Then it's just Mixbury & Westbury before arriving home for a quick jar in the Woolpack.
The weather conditions are looking particular good for the time of year, sunny intervals with a gentle breeze from the North-West.
Don't forget the clocks go back an hour on Saturday night, so enjoy your extra sleep!!
Will need a ride leader for this one, a willing volunteer is warmly welcomed.
Up for the Ride? Then please tap the 'I'm Attending' button and I will catch up at the Pool on Sunday at 08:45 hrs for a 09:00hrs depart.Stewart
