Heading north this week on a 52 mile route with a café stop at The Barn Café Upper Stowe. Terrain will be 'rolling' out to the Café but flatter on the return leg, and hopefully a tail wind. Weather looking reasonable for Sunday with the wind from the NW.

Hi A riders,
Forecast is a bit uncertain for Sunday in terms of rain, but fair chance we will get away without getting wet. Fairly windy I'm afraid with wind direction WSW.
Planing to reuse the route I posted a few weeks ago, but had to cancel due to weather. Heading out to Silverstone, Adstone, Culworth and onward to our Cafe Stop at Barn Farm Upper Wardington at 26 miles. We then head south to Middleton Cheney, Kings Sutton, Croughton, Finmere and back to Buckingham for a total of 52 miles. First half will be fairly hilly, the 2nd half less so with hopefully the wind blowing us home.

Forecast for Sunday is set to be dry, but fairly cold and with strong winds from the SW, so best wrap up well! Plan is to head for Waterperry Gardens as per the B ride allowing folks to return on the B ride if you are not sure a full distance A ride is for you. As you will no doubt expect for one of my rides, we will be heading up Brill Hill! Total distance 54 miles and 1750 ft of up hill.
Course details
https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/30844644Average speed in the 17-19 mph bracket, and expect regular rotations so all get to 'enjoy' the head wind on the outward leg! As usual no dropped riders.
Hope to see you Sunday, and if you can make it please hit the I'm attending button. Please keep an eye on the forum in case the forecast takes a turn for the worse.

After a break over the last few months, time to get the A ride back on the road again! However its still early in the year, so plan is for a steady A ride getting used to riding together again.
Plan to follow a similar route to the B ride to Waterperry Gardens, but with a diversion on the outward leg to add the climb up to Brill. We will follow the same route as the B ride on the return leg. So option for anyone who’s not quite sure about a full A ride can always join the B ride after the café stop. Expect pace around 17 mph, distance 57 miles. Forecast not looking to bad with a risk of a rain after 12.

My road is looking icy right now (7:30AM), so I'm going to give the ride a miss. By the time you set out from the pool hopefully it will be fine.
