With a gentle breeze from the South-West forecast for Sunday have opted for a flatish loop to Weston-on the Green. Looking to stop at The Old flight House for a cuppa and a slice 'o cake. The route home takes us down the delightful Islip to Ambrosden straight, assisted by the gentle tail wind, whats not to like!!
If you fancy it please tap the 'I'm Attending' button and I look forward to meeting up at The 'Pool at 08:45hrs for a 09:00hrs depart.
If the numder of attendees dictate, may need to split the ride into two groups, therefore would be looking for a second ride leader please.

This Sundays rides are a club meet-up at the G&D, Quainton, so a great opportunity to socialise with other members you would not normally ride with. There is also a great opportunity to step-up or down after the cafe stop.
The route is a 37-mile loop, stopping at 25 for a cuppa and a slice 'o cake. Inevitably, there may be a lump or two to increase the heartbeat on the outbound trip. Having meticulously studied the weather forecast there is an strong possibility that the moderate headwind to the G&D will be our best mate on the way home ........ honest guv!!
We ride together, as a group, with no-one dropped.
For clarity, we will meet by the cycle racks at The'Pool, i.e. no need to segragate by the parking meter.
Fancy it, then please tap the 'I'm Attending' button and I will look forward to meeting up for the ride.

Stop Advisor is intended to be a place for reviews and advice on coffee shops or cafes or any other appropriate place to stop on a cycle ride.
Please add any stops not already listed by starting a new discussion, (search first).
If you do visit one of the stops already in the database, please add a review. Over time we should build up a comprehensive list of stops local and further a field to help Swan Wheelers members in planning a ride, whether that's a club one or not.

To Ride Leaders....
If you're planning a route for a Club Ride, we have a growing Library of over 100 SWCC Routes to help.
You can access this in two ways:
Open the SWCC Café Map and click on the coffee cup for the Café you wish to visit. This will open up a page of information for the Café. If any of the Routes in our Library visit that Café, there will be a link on the information page which will display a summary of those Routes, with a link to the full Route which is stored in 'Ride With GPS' (RWGPS).
Click on SWCC Route Library to display a summary of all our routes, which can then be filtered by Café name, direction, distance or elevation to help you decide which one to choose.
To use a route from the SWCC Route Library for a Club Ride (and after checking one.network for potential road closures), simply copy and paste the RWGPS web address of your chosen route in to the Forum Event you have created for the Ride.
When saved in to the Forum, this will expand to show the route map and two clickable buttons - 'View Full Version' and 'Send to Device' - see the example below.
To Ride Attendees....
If a SWCC Route has been chosen for the Club Ride and posted as a RWGPS link in to the Forum Event, then a rider with a basic and free RWGPS account (who has also authorised a link between RWGPS and their device), can choose to 'Pin' this route to their own RWGPS account by clicking the 'Send to Device' button above the Route Map in the Forum Event.
The route (including turn-by-turn directions) will be downloaded to their device when it is next synchronised.
To set this up, click 'Send to Device' on the sample route below, choose your device type (Garmin, Wahoo etc), and RWGPS will take you through the process.
See here for more information.
Please let me know if you have any queries about this. Ask a question in this conversation, send a Forum message to @MarkRoberts or send me a WhatsApp message.
