Silverstone GP this week and, EWR/HS2 making life tricky South of Buckingham, so heading Easterly in a 35mile loop around the lovely countryside around the Weald up to Whaddon, back through Padbury and Lenborough.
https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/67764075
This is a shorter route than of late, to give you a chance to ease back and enjoy the ride, rather than covering the longer distances in the same timeframe. Again the terrain is a little gentler, with undulations rather than the climbs you have encountered the last few weeks heading North. The weather is looking good, all the more reason to take it easy and enjoy the company of your friends.
Please do continue to respect serving staff at the cafe by wearing a face mask, and maintain social distancing. We are in a tentative period with Covid at the moment, and need to take care of each other regardless of the rule of law.
Hope to see some of you once again on Sunday

Yes of course @GrahamB, glad to have you along.

The Weather is looking warm but a bit changeable for Sunday, so sticking close to home with options to cut short if the 40% chance of a shower proves more sustained.
The 39mile route is out via Chackmore to Whittlebury, through Siverstone to Abthorpe , where I have plotted to take you round the back road through the village (because it is lovely, and gives you a chance for a photo or two). Back on the main road to Brookside Wappenham, to stretch those legs up the incline back to Syresham, then Biddlesden to Westbury for a drink and treat. From there it will depend on the weather which way we come back. But the plan is to cross to Hethe on to Stratton Audley, back to Gawcott, finally Buckingham.
https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/65695179Please remember to bring your face mask for the cafe, and try to keep socially distanced when not riding.
I hope to see some of you out for a spin at 08:45 for a prompt 09:00 start.

A return to the popular Limes Farm taking the direct route, via Helmdon.
https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/61901466
Weather is looking good, with the sun making an appearance through the clouds at points.
As it is likely that we will require additional people to take charge of a group, and advisable for all riders to download the course, to help navigate. This ride should be suitable for all abilities and speed.
Please bring a mask for the cafe, and observe social distancing, avoiding mixing with the other ride groups in the carpark.
We meet by the central walkway of the carpark. Be considerate to the people trying to park and gain access to the Sports centre. We are only able to gather here, with the goodwill of the centre.
Please click the "I'm attending button" to help minimise the paperwork.
See you all Sunday. -

This week I will be taking a Leisurly C ride, on a loop round the back of Deanshanger, through Puxley and on to Plumpton End, over the A5 to Alderton, and then a short stretch on the A508 to Stoke Bruerne Canal Museum Cafe, to enjoy a coffe and cake while sitting in the sun, and taking in the atmosphere.
https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/60747188If this appeals to you, please click the "I'm Attending Button". If more than 6 sign up I will need a second person to follow, along the route with another group. Those that have Garmins please download the route to follow. Covid rules still apply, so please bring a mask for the coffee shop and meet by the central walkway.
Weather is looking good, so lets make the best of it.

There's a good shop there too, @KatieR

Once again, a 26mile loop on quiet country roads through some charming North Bucks villages to our refreshment stop, the wonderful Westbury Community Cafe and Shop. If the shop is open, do have a look around and see the range of produce supplied locally.
We return via Welch Lane, the old Drovers Road that brought produce to market from afar. Past Boycott Farm Shop, just love their pork produce :') back to Buckingham.
https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/58937764We meet up by the cycle rack at the side of the carpark. Please wear a mask at the cafe when waiting to be served.
Helmets are mandetory on our rides, for your safety. We advise carrying a spare inner tube (in case of puncture). I will assist, but may not carry the right tube for your bike, or we may have more than one puncture.
The weather is looking mixed with a mild wind to start, developing throughout the day from the SW.
Please check the Met Office closer to the day to ensure you are dressed comfortable for the ride.New riders are encouraged to give us a try, we won't pester you to join, unless you have been coming regularly.
We meet at 08:45 to sort out details, ready for a 09:00 start. Please click the "I'm Attending Button" so we can prepare as much as possible, and keep a look out so we do not set off without you.
I hope you will join me, for this gentle ride, at your pace. -

Please wear a mask when not riding, and when getting served at the cafe.
