Just be clear, are you saying 8:45 for a 9:00 o'clock ride. The Bs are setting off half an hour earlier than usual. (Makes sense since they are going quite a bit further to the Cafe)

Not sure it's the B riders who will miss out on the bacon! They are going 2 or 3 miles less to the cafe - so may beat us to it. Given their numbers ....

A thought does occur (to me in particular) that if I am holding people up I might be able to switch to the Cs on the way home. And, of course, if any of the Cs are feeling particularly "frisky" they might do the opposite.

Just along the road from Brackley central towards the town centre. Good reviews, but I haven't personally tried it. Backs on the park - so handy if only takeaway food possible.

I've decided to drop out - numbers are getting higher than I'm comfortable with - particularly as we will be tempted to dine indoors on chilly days. Might be worth considering running 2 rides on Wednesdays to different venues - if Boris doesn't preempt any decision we might want to make.

The Garmin route is to Culworth! The gpx looks Ok.

I've loaded the route and provided my Garmin behaves itself happy to lead a sub-group if necessary.

The road between Poundon and Chetwode was still (really really) closed yesterday, so I expect you will have to divert via Stratton. I'll be going but meet you up at Claydon.

Open everyday at the times we ride with a fair selection of hot and cold snacks. It's just before the new roundabout when exiting Brackley going East on the high street. Slightly mixed reviews on trip adviser, but mostly positive.

Minded to join you if it doesn't rain in the next hour. Might make sense to head south rather than north since the rain is heading north. Should remain fine if we don't get back too late.

Keen to come but riding to Buckingham might just be a pedal too far just yet - been on holiday the last 3 weeks and still recovering from hip op. However you are passing my front door on your way out - could you pick me up on your way past?

Unfortunately we were/are impacted by the fire on the Brittany Ferry's ship on our outward journey and it's not clear when repairs to the ship will be completed and whether that will impact our return crossing.....
