Weather is looking touch and go at the moment so this is being posted with blind optimism rather than expectation. The route is a simple and easily edited (should the weather dictate) trip south. Stop is at about 40km. Fingers crossed for good weather and good company.

In a rush this morning and conscious that I’m out tomorrow so here’s Sundays route and simple post.
56miles of heading west looping round Banbury.
It will be fun for all.

Shamelessly using a previous route that will take us to the Carrington Arms for no other reason other than I quite fancy one of their (particularly good) Bacon sandwiches. Breakfast is served until 11 so any mechanicals on the first half will mean we either bid the rider farewell or stay as a group which would force our hands into having a pint and waiting until the roasts start at 12 before ordering a taxi home.
The route is relatively familiar roads with a climb up three locks to provide interest for anyone feeling adventurous.

Route now below. It’s a tad shorter than normal owing to the weather forecast and my own selfish desire to not spend all morning wet (although this is highly likely). Route takes us south but not to NORSK. It’s an experimental route to test whether my issues with NORSK are the cafe itself or simply lack of ability to cycle uphill well?! Tap join, pack a Mac, and sit at the back laughing as I struggle up cannons hill.

A second attempt to visit ‘Rose and Crown’ Wingrave. Going to stick with the same route as this is all a bit last minute.
50miles simple loop to accommodate all.

Squeezing this post into my lunch so in brief Sunday is looking like a bit of a breeze from the east so I’m proposing around 90km to Moulsoe. Stop at around 50km and then hopefully a helping tail wind home. Route to follow but it will be out south of mk over the three locks and then back across the north and in via deanshanger.

Weather is looking good for Sunday with moderate temps and no wind so if there is desire to head further afield let me know as I have a longer route ready to go. Otherwise I suggest a simple 80km and well known roads stoping in Wingrave leaving a short dash home. https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/190042398

If the weather allows we will reroute this ride to a route similar to the b ride. A quick dash down towards and back over brill.
