Thanks for organising @JohnH the ride went well with Mark E leading. I thought I should flag up the state of Poundon hill for future reference, it's as bad as I've seen it with more pot holes and deep rutting than I've seen there before.

Hi @StewartB, I'll do a version of C today missing out the closed road and the gravel section. As tim's posted a 7pm departure, I'll suggest normal time 😀.

It's time to look East
This Year's Suffolk Sunrise ride is coming up on Sunday May 19th. Last year 11 Swans traded our familiar well loved routes for a ride in the beautiful Suffolk countryside.The ride is organised by Action Medical Research (A children's medical fundraiser) with a choice of three routes and three prices - Feed Stations are supplied along the routes and included in the registration cost;
Cool 42 Miles: £36.50
Classic 65 Miles: £46.50
Champion 102 Miles: £48.50If anyone fancies doing it again - or even for the first time, here's the link to register:
https://action.org.uk/events/cycling/suffolk-ride#info
Last year we stayed at a Premier Inn close to the start and had a nice dinner out the night before.
This has the possibility of being a very social time as well as a ride through a different set of scenery.
Please click the attending button if this one's for you.
Feel free to call if you have any queries

Hi @JohnH,
It looks good - can I suggest a mod to the shorter route that would have both groups arriving at Thrift around the same time. It still comes in a respectable 32 miles inc return to Swan Pool.Re Thrift - You may already have spoken with them but it's worth checking.
They have a new layout which involves going in to the cafe via the garden shop. The person I spoke with last month said they could open the side gate to allow us to bring bikes closer to the cafe if they know we're coming.
I'll have to leave a little early if that's ok
