Yikes, not cheap is it! Although to be fair I have been very pleased with the gillet I bought last time, which has been great.
Ordered a top and shorts, so should be fully clubbed up by June :-)

Hi @Philmet1
I appreciate that once you add the VAT and delivery on, the base figure is increased. We did our best to strike the balance between price and quality when selecting CS. Velotec, our previous supplier was cheaper by about £8-10 per jersey but we got so many complaints about sizing and quality. Also we had to pay VAT (at Eire rate of 23%) AND delivery with them.
Our investigations into club clothing found Champion System were rated high for quality and came in at average price for club kit.
Don't forget you are ordering a custom made garment and the best selling point is there is no minimum order per type of item, so you can order the shorts and jersey without having to hope 10 other members want to order the exact same type of shorts and jerseys!
We continue to monitor prices to make sure we're getting the best value for money.
Cheers
Matt

Hi @MattH
I get that. I prefer to pay for good quality rather than buy cheap, and as I say I'm very happy with the gillet I bought in September, I'm sure this order of a top and shorts will be as good.
I like the design of the Swan gear too.
I'm going to order something warmer in September, I guess. Fleece bib-tights probably, then I'll be sorted.
It's not a grumble at all but I guess it's just worth noting that what with the gillet (£50), shorts and top (£181) and next some tights (I guess approx £110 + VAT + Delivery) the club gear will have cost me around £400.

Just checked their Tech Pro kit for S/S Top and bib shorts works out around £126, for a simple comparison a wiggle dhb Aeron (there is cheaper) which is good quality, a set around £115 but of course not Swan designed kit. So I'd say it's not too bad ah!
