Basic rules for classifieds:
You must post the classified advert in the Classifieds forum.
Please prefix your post with either "For Sale", "Wanted", "Trade".
Do not put any personal contact details in your post, instead instruct potential buyers to contact you via the forum's messaging system (ie click on your name/pic)
If you include photographs (recommended) then they must be photos of the item you have for sale and not a stock photograph.
No fishing expeditions. You are either selling something or you're not. Either it's in the classifieds or it's deleted.
The rule on not SHOUTING or applying other formatting to draw unequal attention to your advert is not permitted.
7 After an item the original advertiser must not remove the historical record by editing the advert in any way (no deleting), nor prevented the buyer from leaving comments in the future (no locking a conversation).
If you are selling helmets:
You must show clear photos of the shell to demonstrate it has never been in an accident and cannot offer for sale any helmet with signs of damage.
You must show clear photos of the straps and rear tightening mechanism as this is the best indication that it is authentic.
Advisory (not rules):
Unlike the rest of the member forums, this one is visible via non members in order to give your advert maximum exposure
Update the thread (or close it) when your item has sold and say how much it has sold for.
Put a price in the first post, with ONO (Or Nearest Offer) if you're willing to negotiate.
Don't worry about formatting, just type in the text and we'll take care of making sense of it. We will auto-convert links, and if you put asterisks around words we will make them bold.
Tips:
Create headers by underlining text with ==== or ----
To *italicise* text put one asterisk each side of the word
To **bold** text put two asterisks each side of the word
Embed images by entering:  That's the hard one: exclamation, square brackets and then the URL to the image in brackets.
* Create lists by starting lines with asterisks
1. Create numbered lists by starting lines with a number and a dot
> Quote text by starting lines with >
Mention another user by @username
For syntax highlighting, surround the code block with three backticks:

Your code goes here
```
Just like Github, a blank line must precede a code block.
If you upload more than 5 files we will display all attachments as thumbnails.
