Thanks @Woods that's brilliant, calendar updated with requested details.
Thank you @JohnnyG I was down to lead the taster ride on the 10th but more than happy for you to do that one and I'll lead the leisure ride on the 10th instead.

Thanks @Woods, @keithrose and @JohnnyG ☺️

I'm standing on the ride coordinator role whilst @paulS is on holiday for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately April seems to be a month when there are lots of holidays and events going on and there are a few gaps in the ride leader schedule for April that neither Paul or I have been able to fill.
Are you able to help out by leading a ride in April please?
These are the dates and rides that currently don't have a ride leader:
3 April - Medium ride
10 April - Leisure ride
10 April - Medium rideIf you are able to help this could simply be a one off or you might want to become a regular ride leader (no pressure though).
If anyone is able to help out with any of these dates, please let me know.
You can find out more information about ride leading on the web site.
Thanks very much
Matt

@JohnnyG there's a slight error on the gpx in the route library in that it wants you to go an interesting way through the Manor estate (that's me relying on the auto complete bit when compiling the route!). I'll correct it later today and upload it again.
Also I'm pretty sure 94 Coffee Shop isn't open with it being Easter Sunday.

Thanks @AdamPool
Could I make a suggestion for working out the best date?
http://doodle.com is a good and free tool for figuring out when everyone can make a time. You just set a poll up with suggested dates and then invite people to tick the dates they can make allowing you to build up a picture of when the best time is.

Brilliant - thanks @keithrose and @JohnnyG!

Meant to say that full details are in the web site change log

A couple of changes to the club's web site to let you know about:
- on the home page we just now show the summary data for the club's Strava rides - it wasn't proving a great use of space... and there were a few dodgy named rides that didn't suit being on the club's home page!!
- a note about taster rides has been added to the home page
- a new menu created in the main navigation 'Club rides' which contains the Rides (calendar), Taster rides and Ride Leaders (moved home from under About)
- a new taster rides page
As always if you notice anything amiss on the site or you have suggestions on how we can improve it in terms of content or design, I'd be really keen to hear from you.

Thanks for this @AdamPool I agree with @JohnnyG two hours would be good and make it worth the journey. Especially at that reasonable price!

To help encourage new members and promote the new monthly taster rides (second Sunday of the month from April to September) we've put together a poster to pin up in and around Buckingham.
I've had the following volunteers already for pinning up a copy of the poster on noticeboards in the town and villages...
MattH - Gawcott and speaking to Paul @ Solstice
@StephenT - Tingewick
@keithrose - Maids Moreton, Whittlebury, Swan Pool
@lucyS - Bourton ParkIf anyone else can lend a hand or knows a suitable village, park or community noticeboard, or business window that we could pin up the advert for our club, please feel free to download the attachment, print it out and stick it up!
Thanks for your help.

Okay, okay... the use of the word 'Spectacular' in the title may have been slightly over the top, as it's just the usual club ride. However, it's also the Spring Equinox on Sunday and what better way to celebrate the turn of the day being longer than the night and therefore having more cycling light, than a slightly longer club ride?
The new café at Waddesdon has provide more opportunities to head down to that picturesque part of the county. It'll be a fairly tough ride though as they're be a fair amount of climbing but as a reward an extended spell through the Manor estate at Waddesdon and cracking tea/coffee and cakes at the stop.
Haddenham, Stone and Waddesdon loop
Please bring sufficient water and snacks as well as cash for the tea stop.
Hope to see you there.

Just a gentle reminder about membership renewal. You'll need to renew by 31 March 2016 in order to make sure you're eligible to vote at the AGM in April.
Please drop your £15 in to Paul @ Solstice along with a completed membership form before then. Thanks!

@StephenT - I hope we're not sloppy seconds given you were originally already going out 😉
Just a reminder that the taster rides are a week away. If there's a noticeboard or other legal and considerate opportunity to post up a Swan Wheelers poster near you, please could you do so?
If anyone needs a laminated copy, please give me a shout and I can supply!
