Hi to you mid weekers and I’m looking to take you in a clockwise direction to the George & Dragon via Padbury, Winslow, North Marston to Quainton (18mls) then back to Twyford, Poundon and home.
I fully appreciate that the rain of Tuesday is going to be followed by a frosty night! but hoping that it’ll maybe ok for us in the morning but I’ve thoughts of changing the time again for a 10:00 Start, thoughts?
Thursday I see is looking like a much better day all round so maybe worth delaying till then, although some else will have to lead as I’ve a prior family engagement.

Its been a request a again on the last club survey and been a while since the club & a few friends had that enjoyable introduction to this different cycling world and an enjoyable time was had by all, so maybe it’s time for another visit?
There are two options available that I’ve been thinking of:
1) as an individual or buddy up and book into an open session of our choice to improve our accreditation levels? Personally I’ve done the introductory Stage 1 seasons 4 times now so looking to take that step-up to the next level to achieve a 2) Improved and 3) Advance level of accreditation.
Currently running on a Thurs 5-6 and Sat 6-7 at £16:10 an hour plus bike hire etc
For any takers you will need to sign-up for a Membership number to book.
via the web at http://www.derbyarena.co.uk/cycling/2) as a club visit and book the track for an hour or two (?) with a coach as before, so to the costs: to hire the track in 2018 is £145 per hour for BC registered clubs. Cycle coach hire is £29 per hour per coach. Bike and shoe hire can be hired and paid for at reception on the day. Bike Hire is £8.10 for 1 hour, £13.45 for 2 hours. Shoe hire is £6.20.
We allow up to 16 riders on the track at any one time so if the group is larger than 16 the group will be split in to 2 smaller groups each sharing the track time equally (30 mins per group). Will consider as before opening to non-member friends as before if necessary.
So guys & girls are any you interested to “tip your big toe into this pond” and/or head for a bigger challenge?
Tick the attendance tab and/or make a comment...
ohps wrong section! -
Need to see what happens over night as it’ll be a cold one but hopefully dry, looking to head out a little later at 10:00 SO is anyone going to join in?
Where to? Let’s see what occurs and decide tomorrow?
I hope a few of you mid-weekers will be ok with this option
@paulS can you change the time and we’ll see how it goes ok.
Cheers

I’m only going to give this one a 50/50% chance of getting going considering the rather cold forecast for Sunday.
My plan is to head north in a clockwise route taking in The Barn at Upper Stowe, heading out through Syresham, Blakesley, Farthingstone to our stop at 21mls. Back round to Bugbrooke, Blisworth, Silverstone and home but watch this space?Total of 43mls planned with 1400 ft of ascending to enjoy! well it is N’ants, top temperature of 3dec.

Hello fellow MidWeekers and yes finally we can get back out on the road so in celebration let’s take a local trip around and stop at the Barn at Stratton Audley now reopened after its winter break.
The plan is for a 39 ml ride out to Evenley, Stoke Lyne on to SA then through Marsh to Twyford, Poundon and home.
The weather a barmy 5d with slight breeze and 10% chance of any precipitation.

Hope to see someone this time! at the pool.
