I’m afraid my back cable has ( I think ) snapped today . So I have no back brake, therefore not able to ride tomorrow.
I have also been told that there is a lot of debris and standing water near beachampton.
Not sure if someone wants to put a different route on .
The weather is looking wet but changes during the day .

This Sunday I plan to do a ride last weeks to Café Belge.
If it’s wet or cold I may cancel it.

It’s a 32 mile ride towards Winslow with the café stop at 16 miles.
This will be a typical C paced ride ideal for new C riders who wish to join us.
Please remember bike stuff, water, payment etc..!

Please remember to have mud guards on and wrap up warm as it’s chilly.
Meet at 845 am at the Swan pool for a 9am start.

If the weather is ok in the morning , will be leading the route as first posted.

If you want to do the longer ride then it’s up to you and I will not have this route . So you will have to sort it out between yourselves

I’m taking the lead again this week for the mid week ride so behave!

Stratton Audley Barn have reopened their doors for 3 months and have a new Café abbots @the barn.

They serve breakfast, drinks and cakes but maybe under different management so not sure on the quality! They still have outside under cover seating as well as indoor so let’s see how it is!

This ride is a 33 miles ride , hopefully roads will be open and not too many pot holes!
Please make sure your bike is in good working order, bring spare tubes, pop a mud guard on if needed and remember a drink, helmet and payment for your refreshments.

You are responsible for your own safety and although we ride as a group if you intend to go home early, go a different way or change groups please let the ride leader or someone in your group know.
9 :15 for a 9:30 departure.

A weather call will be done on WhatsApp if need be.

At the café if you take your bikes all the way to the Tipi there is room for your bikes .

This weeks MW ride I’ve chosen to take us to the Garden Tipi Café at Preston Bissett Nursery.
We haven’t been here for a while so while it’s a 3 loop, 36 miler it’s fairly flat, with coffee at 22miles.( thanks PW for the route.)

Meet at usual place 9:15 for a 9:30 depart.
Usual stuff required, payment, tubes, drink and bike in good working order.

Can we do Yarmouth down the coast to Vetnor and then cut across or just go back the same way !!
Not proposing to do the whole island as it’s too hilly ! 35- 40 miles is a good way with coffee and lunch
