This week’s ride will take us through some of the North Bucks uplands on a 39 mile ride with 1,462 feet of ascent. We will stop at 22 miles at the Thrift Farm cafe.
Points to note are gravel on the road coming up the hill out of Leckhampstead and the poor (worse than normal Bucks roads) road condition coming out of Swanbourne. The stretch from Beachampton up to Nash is the lumpiest part of the ride with a short steep climb out of Thornton.
The weather's looking promising for Wednesday with sunshine and a light north-west wind.
